So, Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, and some other random celebrities I've never heard of hit up the Peds hospital at Tufts to promote the all-ladies remake of Ghostbusters.
Apparently a bunch of people are really pissed, mainly saying its exploiting children who have never heard of Ghostbusters and obviously don't give a flying fart.
Yay?
Or nay?
I don't think is to be released for 1-2 years (why must the remake everything?!?! Footloose the remake was a bust. This is only in early filming stages and isn't looking too good)
I think the hospital PR team did not do a great job selecting photos which just made it appear more exhibitionisr
Oh my gosh get over itThese people were just trying to spread joy to people in crummy situations. At least they are trying to bring happiness and joy
Do you really believe this? People whose only objective is to bring happiness and joy are typically able to do it without posing for publicity photos.
What "joy" did that poor little child in the bed seem to be experiencing? Yeah...he sure got a bucketful of happiness by having a group of people standing behind him, smiling at a camera.
Please, you can't believe they were there for the KID.
We get celebs all the time at our children's hospital. They are accompanied by a handler- who makes certain they do not bother kids who do not want/ need to be bothered.
But the one celeb you seldom see photographed with our kids (except by the kids' own families) is a guy who comes around and doesn't WANT any publicity for himself. I'll give you a hint. The children's hospital is named after him, won a Superbowl, 6'5", laser-rocket arm, #18, brother is QB for the Giants.......

I'm horrible with sports so I have no clue, at all.

He had a children's hospital banned after him? I didn't know that.
Good guy that Peyton.
The hospital posted signs in the windows that said "who you gonna call". It's not like they just showed up at the hospital for kicks and giggles. Of course there were pictures, but families and kids had to approve having pictures taken. Maybe the one kid looks unhappy because they are sick, not because they weren't excited.

Dude, If it was a REAL Ghostbuster, like Bill Murray...
Amen, end of discussion.
Seriously, that second picture broke my heart. There were those ladies, oblivious to how sick, even scared that child looked. It's one thing if the child is able to enjoy it, but sometimes it looks like shameless self-promotion.

Well the one true looking child doesn't really look happy.
