pack up a cooler with some lemonades, some watermelon, and some snacks, put on a bathing suit, grab a towel and plop myself on the beach.
there is nothing i love more than floating around in the ocean to help relax and then taking a nice nap in the sunshine listening to the waves. i am truly blessed to live in florida.

I have a bug of jealousy as well...but am sincerely happy that many of our members don't live in the concrete jungle that I reside in.
I have to come home, call some of my nursing mentors and shoot off about the interesting things or situations that angered and frustrated me throughout the day. A bit of gossip is fine, too. Of course, I come here to see how everyone else faired throughout the day, and then, I read or watch documentaries.
Since I work evenings, I'll come home at the end of a stretch and play on the computer for a couple of hours, chat with my son or my sister if they're up, read in bed for a while, then sleep a little later the next day. In the summer, if it's been really hot, I might go out and sit in the pool for a while or take a cool, refreshing shower. But seeing as how we're better than 60 miles from the coast, no beach walks ![]()

What is your "woo hoo, I'm off work" transition routine? Mine is to sing to the radio on the way home like a maniac, hop on the treadmill for awhile, clean up, and go out somewhere fun with friends/hubby/both. We love to have weekend sangria parties with a seafood boil around this time of year too, just a few friends being relaxed and having fun! What's yours?
