and my favorite....zen of surfing!! lol my university is 4 miles from the beach, so they offer 1 unit classes to teach you have to surf lol :)

I just got accepted to my college's spring 2008 nursing program. I am currently a biology major and will complete by B.S. degree in biology in december and start nursing (BSN) in january. So this fall I will be taking prereqs and finishing up my bio classes for my major.

A&P II w/lab (prereq)

Microbiology w/lab (prereq and for my bio degree)

General Pharmacology (for my bio degree)

Nursing Management of Pharmacological Therapeutics (prereq)

I will be taking Human Anatomy& physiology 1 this fall semester. I do not know what other courses that I will be taking if any of you have any suggestions I would gladly like to hear from you. I really really like to get an A in A&P. Do any of you have suggestions on how to study for the class I would very much appreciate your imput. I look forward to hearing from you. Hello,

Human Anatomy&physiology is a difficult class, so if i was you I would avoid taking some other hard lab class with it. For second class I would take something relatively easy, maybe Language course or some kind of humanities...then again it all depends on your personal situation like are you working or are you fully devoted to your studies? If you have a job I would advice you to stick with one hard class and one easy...so you can achieve best grades to get into competetive nursing school. As far as studing tips...take a lot of notes, record the lecture, make use of your A&P study guide, take pictures ( if you can) of bones in your lab etc...just be systematic in your studies and you should do just fine...Good luck.

:balloons:Congrats to all of you who are in Nursing!:balloons: This after speaking with the nursing advisor I will be taking:

Basic Bio w/ Lab

Fundamentals of Chem w/Lab

Intro to Child Develpment

Eng (Beat Generation?)

College Algebra

Then if I am lucky and get a high enough GPA can transfer to nursing for the spring. May go crazy this semester but it will be worth it ...
