What other words are used in the Nclex exam? Usually when answering Q banks the words "intervene, follow up, etc" are used. My friend took the exam last month and sadly he failed. He said that words such as "intervene, follow up" weren't used. He said another word, which he forgot that started with an "O" was used instead. What word is this and what other words are used?

Any word you can think of was used on the NCLEX. And I doubt your friend failed because the words "intervene" and "follow up" weren't used.

I'm afraid your friend's focus needs some adjustment. As long as one has a competent grasp of the English language, one should be able to adapt to any and all words used.
(Just when I thought I'd seen every possible question about/break-down of NCLEX questions.......)

Focus less on wording and more about being able to apply what you know. And just because your friend failed due to not understanding what the question was asking, does not mean you will fail. Good Luck!

"Select all that apply"....75% of my test had this and passed with 75 questions. Cannot think of any oddball wording starting with "o".

I don't think I understand the question, any word in the English language can be used. If your friend has trouble with English that would be a problem he has to overcome before he can pass the test but no one is going to fail because of not understanding one word, unless the one word he didn't understand was in every question, and that's not going to happen.
