What does your username mean?

Let's do something fun! Everybody on allnurses.com has a very interesting and unique username. What is the back story of your username? Mine is just like it states, "Life's a Journey!"

Mine is a slightly more "grown up" take on my other internet handle Leijinga. Both are variants of the name of one of my oldest short story characters: Leijing Skywalker.

The meaning of my username is quite fitting, in my native language means Gitano= Gypsy... yes since I have moved over 15 times starting in Madrid,Spain.

I am retired. My experience with Doctors and I am sorry to say Nurses,has been extremely frustrating at times. As I have aged so has my exposure to the patient side of things. My Internist and her Nurse are great. I hate being called "honey". I dislike being talked over, interrupted, feel like I'm talking to the wall, worst of all....that blank look that conveys "what could you know your older and retired". I use clinical terms, keep it brief, and do not expect miracles. I have an email with my user name....a little humor goes a long way!!!

Mine was an acronym for essential vitamins but I then got locked out of my account and decided to change it. It is not a goal...apply and get in to nursing so I will have been nursing since 2019...working on it. Would like to look back and say I was right on.
