Let's do something fun! Everybody on allnurses.com has a very interesting and unique username. What is the back story of your username? Mine is just like it states, "Life's a Journey!"

Specializes in Psych, EMS.

I changed my username last night. We had a slow night, overstaffed due to the storm, and my charge nurse saw me on this site and saw my username! He immediately went to the site and said he was gonna check out my posts and see if I talked any smack. :uhoh21:

Well, I have definitely have talked some smack lol, and had about 3 seconds to change my name! I chose "ok2bme" because sometimes I need reassurance and validation that I really am okay the way I am, and that it is okay to be me..my struggles, flaws, imperfections, quirks, and all!

Specializes in Trauma ICU.

My mom grows these beautiful orchids that for some reason have like 8 blooms a pop and last forever. I never got her green thumb but I've always loved the flowers...and the White Stripes just happened to be big when I picked it. Its sort of stuck since then :lol2:

Nothing much. The hubster bought my a platinum wedding ring and the username "platinum" was already taken..so I added a "*" after mine. :)

Specializes in LTC.

I have a lot of respiratory problems!!

I have a dog named Bella, and that makes me her mommy :) Lol

I'm from Australia, and I'm a RN :)

My daughter's name ends with the letters "NINI".....so basically Also Known As Nini!

Specializes in Nurse Practitioner-Emergency Room.

I live in Kentucky, and I used to drive out of state to work (before I was a nurse) and there was a girl there that I became really close with, and she and the other employees used to call me Kentucky boy. Of course the RN is self explanatory. On some other forums that I've more recently joined, I've kept the kyboy and added NP, since I recently graduated nurse practitioner school and passed boards. So if you're on another forum and you see kyboynp, that's probably me!

Specializes in Peds.

I graduated with my BSN n May 2009 from NC A&T State Univ...and the Aggie bulldog is our mascot. I have a lot of AGGIE PRIDE! At the time I found out about the site, I was searching for NCLEX help, so I just put new in front of AggieGrad09 lol

Specializes in Med/Surg, Surgery.

What a fun thread! I graduated nursing school in 1978 and have many years' experience, hence the name. At the time, I couldn't come up with anything more creative. :)
