What does your username mean?

Let's do something fun! Everybody on allnurses.com has a very interesting and unique username. What is the back story of your username? Mine is just like it states, "Life's a Journey!"

I have 4 boys and once I was told that someone would be really stupid to mess with my kids because I would attack like a mama bear. LOL

Once I mixed up "rocket science" and "brain surgery" while trying to convince someone that something wasn't that hard. Hence, "this ain't rocket surgery!"

I was having a hard time trying to decide on a user name for this website- I don't belong to any other forums so I was starting from scratch. Should it just be my real name, my initials, something funny, something smart? In exasperation, the rocket surgery phrase came to mind, so I thought, "why not?" :)

My user name is to honor my mother who passed away a few years ago. She was very surprised when I told her i wanted to be a nurse, but she was also the first one to buy me a stethoscope and I still have a card from her congratulating me on my success at graduation. I will always remember her every day I am working as a nurse!:redpinkhe

"Kool-aide" comes from one of my best RN friends. She says I'm a "cool aide," so "kool-aide" is a play on words. :D I think it's rather clever!

My name is Nightengalegoddess. She was really the original nursing goddess. I admire her tenacity and intellect. She bucked her families' desires for her and researched her way into making nursing a science, not just a 'maid and waitress' profession.

swim = I used to be a competitive swimmer.

I made this up for a screen name on AIM and it's just kind of stuck with me on any forum I frequent.

I was a distance swimmer all the way. Couldn't sprint or do anything else very well but I can pace like a mo :coollook:
