Let's do something fun! Everybody on allnurses.com has a very interesting and unique username. What is the back story of your username? Mine is just like it states, "Life's a Journey!"
Couple things one this thread is long been going on from 2008 amazing guess I will add mine
Well spika is the nickname my father gave me about the time I decided I wanted to become a nurse, a time in my life that was not pretty but a time where a nurse had saved my life touched me and made a difrance in me for the better as it seems I have never been the same from that day on ( I was about 14 at this time) and well RN is an no brainer
"Star" came from the fact that when I was 3 years old, I wouldn't answer to anything but Star or Crystal when my parents spoke to me - a fact that they STILL won't let me live down. :) I've also used the name "Star" out at Burning Man as a chosen name.
And 77? Year I was born.
So now you know.

That's funny! When I was 4 or 5, I wanted my name to be Lisa sooo bad and would tell everyone when they called my real name, "MY NAME IS LIIISA!" My stepdad did a little "magic" and changed my name to Lisa by sitting me on top of the dryer and waving a rag around. It got so bad, my mom made him un-do the name change.
Funny thing is - I don't even like the name Lisa now. My guess is I saw someone on TV who I thought was beautiful named Lisa. My family won't let me live it down either - they still call me Lisa sometimes.

What, you want us to guess? Could be anything, really.... Fascinated by stories of the Knights of the Temple? Are you, or were you, a Church minister?
