Yeah.

It's pretty obvious that the church is confident that they are politically protected from repercussions like loss of tax haven.  They've chosen one sin and decided that they will apply that sin to one man and call him unworthy for communion...it's crazy.  Communion isn't for the perfect person it's for the needy soul...

It's why the catholic church is bleeding followers! They are behind the times and don't allow themselves to be questioned which is why whenever I run into the die hards, I plague them unmercifully. I can't stand rigid blowhards!

Florida Governor DeSantis bests Trump in a straw poll.  At the same conference that Pence was booed.  (I'm actually surprised there's no talk of him running.)

DeSantis has a lot going for him in that he's Trump-like in policy and ideas but doesn't lie (much) and is way more professional (sometimes).   He's never lost, unlike Trump, who did lose, served in Iraq, captain of baseball team at Yale, Harvard Law School grad, and gets mad love from Republicans here in Florida for reopening the economy quickly during the worst of covid.

What do you think will happen if DeSantis starts hinting about a presidential campaign in 2024? Do you think Trump will endorse him or attack him?

He would not even hint about a Presidential campaign without conferring with Trump first and securing his endorsement because without it Trump's loyal base, which does seem to be dwindling, wouldn't have it.  He would need that base to secure a win.  In my opinion.

Trump, who doesn't like to lose in the meantime might turn on him the way he did his loyal lapdog Pence and every other lapdog that didn't behave as he wanted.  Trump has demonstrated how he campaigns and if he wants to run again against DeSantis he will be ugly about it.

I think Trump might be on the way to jail or Russia by the time DeSantis decides. 

Isn't it funny that at a religious confab, Pence gets booed making Trump more holy according to the audience? 

I honestly don't know how people live in the company of such hypocrites and not be always terrified when they will change their minds about anything incl violence! It's like living with a full blown paranoid psychotic or a hypermanic person. You don't know what coming next?

Thank you for this insight. I appreciate it....I am a lapsed Catholic but do go when I need to reflect or make tough decisions. You put into words what I feel when I go to church.

Houston hospital employees fired for refusing to be vaccinated!

Rightly so! What other lunatic ideas do they harbor? They are a danger to others and their families! 

I can never get over the level of hypocrisy we possess here. You decide to work in a scientific environment in a profession that is TOTALLY scientific and you don't believe in the science! 

If you believe that the vaccine is dangerous, take a look at what's happening in the countries with limited vaccinations or the ones with the Chinese vaccine and see the surge of infections and deaths. They are suspicious about Rna yet it is clearly by miles, the most effective vaccines and the science is so simple! 

Apparently, it's their ignorance about science that makes them suspicious!

What these republicans MORONS and I repeat MORONS, don't understand and will probably never understand because they are so poorly educated with such a lack of insight, they're practically animalistic, IS THAT PEOPLE YOU DON'T INVEST IN, NEVER FULFILL THEIR POTENTIAL AND WILL ALWAYS BE A DRAIN LIKELY! 

You teach someone to fish and he'll never have to ask you for anything again! It's the basics of education! Our way is to limit people so we can jail them later and pay fiscally and emotionally for the privilege! 

People are like businesses, like anything really, except they can harbor resentment, slights, hurts etc, until they reach an epiphany and culminate in violence to release the frustration! Republicans are such idiots and so unpatriotic that they suppress their own countrymen to validate appetites that are almost always secular! How many cars can you drive or food can you eat, and it's all to satisfy their insecurities! When with humongously less effort, like say Scandinavians, you minimize and train your mind to repudiate the seven deadly sins! 

You suppress a voter and you destroy his potential to make a difference. Republicans just seem to be so ignorant about so many elementary things that I think that Dems should utilize their own tactics against them. Everything they do, mimic it! And it's complete *** about stooping to another person's level! How else can you understand them better?
