Interesting.  Didn't Trump do some America First thing that hindered imports from Canada where they don't seem to be having problems?

You have no knowledge of my religion. If you were referring to me when you said "your religious persuasion". 

I have not imposed my religion to anyone or used religion in any of my post. 

However many others have. Seems like a fear or discrimination against someone based on their chosen religion. I can only assume that being of Christian faith. Which seems to be the only religion that anyone can criticize openly. 

I do not like the idea of abortion. However I know that it has become part of reproductive health for women. I care for all life,including the pregnant woman so I would not support any restricting as early as 6 weeks. As you have said, DIY abortions will happen and that will cause deaths to some women. Her life is important as well. 

I have yet to see a abortion restriction that would prevent a woman from having a life saving proceedure in later pregnancy. As we have established, this is not abortion in the context we are discussing.  It would be a early delivery,and would include all attempts to save the life of the fetus/baby. 

The woman in the post made a responsible decision about her reproductive health. Now if we could make more people responsible for their own contraception before pregnancy, then this hard choice and risk could be eliminated entirely. 

Please don't ask about if birthcontol fails? It does, im living proof, and have a happy healthy failed birthcontrol child, but the vast number of abortions preformed are not because of failed birth control. Or rape or incest.

Not sure but I'm sure Trump would have been able to persuade Canada's weak clown Prime Minister into giving up some formula. Trump placed tariffs on trade with Canada. I'm suprised the PM hasn't made a statement or sent out some formula to add to his self virtue quest.

Trump wouldn't have massive supplies of baby formula on the southern border for all the illegals Biden allows in with welcome arms at our southern border.

I don't know about the Canada thing but I do know that we received our donation of formula from Switzerland.  There was an article today in med news today about how the government flubbed this one starting with undelivered mail in their mailroom.  Seems they can't get enough help either.  And then the huge behemoth just couldn't get enough employees in the same room at the same time to get off to a quick start.  Of course, there is that pesky bacterial problem at the plant in Michigan for which the source hasn't been found.  Maybe Trump could have done this a week or two earlier..,maybe not.  No profit for him. All I know is that this has exposed problems in the chain of command at the FDA food production arm (different from the drug producing arm) and I can't remember anything similar to this happening before except in the drug world where shortages in anesthetics and anti-hypertensive drugs had become a fairly regular occurring problem.  The British helped us out during the "great Propofol shortage" with their version of the drug.  Is this a by-product of manufacturing medications strictly through the teeth of capitalism rather than what is good for the public (and the people trying to care for them). Food for thought - aware of the bad pun.

Canada manufactures baby formula, all of which is sent to China.  They get the good stuff from us, so, no, they couldn't help us out since they have shortages of their own.  Calling Trudeau names doesn't help what is already a lack of an argument here.

The DPA doesn't allow for increasing immediate supply of formula by purchasing formula in other countries, only Congress can do that which they finally did on May 18.  The DPA provides for assistance in easing logistical issues for increasing US supply down the road.

What are you saying Trump would have done differently?

My guess is baby formula has been at the border for years and its not " massive supplies" while Americans do without.  The party of pro life is showing a dark side in criticizing babies being fed.  I just can't
