Fantasy. The old "can you imagine if it were Trump......."
But they probably wouldn't be criticizing him for feeding immigrants, although I can't imagine them not feeding children.
But I do imagine there would be criticism About his US-Mexico-Canada trade agreement that apparently discouraged formula imports from Canada. He aligned himself with the American formula industry which I'm sure he had good intentions.
QuoteAmerica’s reasonable instinct to protect infants has metastasized into an unreasonably protectionist trade policy that makes the U.S. formula market exquisitely sensitive to existential shocks (like a pandemic) and domestic shocks (like a major recall). Today, the shocks are everywhere, and that’s why baby formula is not.

It's okay to discriminate against certain groups but not others. Some groups cannot be racist and other groups are racists determined by their skin color.
It's fine for one sex to abuse the other but not visa versa.
There is no such thing as biological sex ,but there is infinite genders.
The hypocrisy is astounding indeed.
Oh... so now the protests for the justices is equivalent to a riot or are you having trouble defining riot as compared to protest or as opposed to an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government?
Hyperbole is a terrible argument.

I don't think the poster is talking about the protests at the justices since they have been peaceful, but the old argument that we're upset with the violence on January 6th and not violence around BLM or other liberal protests. Just about every conservative poster here has brought that up at one time or another so that's just a guess.

I've seen a handful of similar transgenderism in our schools stories since I conceded that maybe the FL law was a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. I take that concession back.
Liberal indoctrination is a thing.
From the article:
"So, in my classroom, I will refer to your child by whatever name and pronouns that they've told me they feel most comfortable with,' Slattery then said, with his fellow panelists nodding in approval.
The teacher went on to equate conveying that concept to parents to teaching children in his classroom.
'Just have that be it,' he said - 'almost like the guidelines I try to use when I'm, like, explaining hard topics to my students. Like, less is more.'
The other panelists again nodded in approval."
This student was very possibly invited to that safe place and meeting because she had expressed some confusion or distress about her emerging sexuality. Hers wouldn't be the first parents who respond to the possibility that their child might not be a straight heterosexual with more religion.

I would like to know as well. I think there are several treaties and immigration laws around asylum. Previously I think immigrant asylum seekers were a small part of immigrants. I think it's an issue now with the situation in Central America and maybe the number of seekers has risen.
Interestingly it was Clinton that thought to reform immigration laws to stop people from taking advantage. Trump of course continued this course because he thought of asylum as a loophole.

I agree that it was a confusing comment and yes, rhetoric is almost always predictable and identifiable no matter the political lean.

Apparently this is not the case, or the student isn't admitting this at this point. They just randomly picked out this student for indoctrination.

We simply can't know at this point. The student spends hours everyday in the company of other students and the teachers. I'm not going to second guess their observations or conversations that may have proceeded the invitation. The parent's reaction is classic.

Agree. As I mentioned above, I can't wrap my head around the idea of them choosing a student out of the blue for liberal indoctrination. Doesn't make sense. They probably aren't going to violate any privacy and we'll never know.
Welcome back by the way.

I can appreciate your point about "what aboutisms" with Trump.
However I'm not sure anyone person can with a straight face, not acknowledged the field day some people would have if this was a Trump presidency.
Also It, would be hard to not mention there was an increase of negative media of a sittng president after 2016.
Sometimes hypocrisy needs to be called out and claiming that Trump would not have been blamed to the upmost degree for all the Biden failures if he was president right now, is hypocrisy in definition.

Thank you for the clarification about them prioritizing and not following the full extent of policy on 100% of the people and perhaps he should be more aware of what's going on.
From the article " The amended complaint comes after shocking evidence uncovered dozens of adult male illegal immigrants brought to a U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement office, and then bussed to a nearby airport to be sent to their chosen destination inside the United States, including Miami according to news reports."
I do wonder what the true number is if they've only uncovered dozens.
At the end of the day I'm still more worried about Americans than I am "migrants and drugs", terrorism and espionage. But I do want them to get a handle on the decades old problem of illegal immigrants.
