I heard that the Taliban and Isis are using the Texas abortion law to curb the Infidels from buying mirrors in Islamic countries. 

They want everyone to have long beards ?? to prevent the wastage of food from falling to the ground ???

That law can apply everywhere! I mean who needs the police?

I have a theory. 

I think republicans must really hate themselves, because they are always in other people's business! Women, Hispanics, Blacks, Chinese etc etc. 

I mean if you liked yourself and was interested in what your own mind is processing, you really wouldn't have the time or inclination to be minding other people's business, would you? 

It's like when I traveled to certain countries and I noticed that certain segments of society were always louder than everyone else was. Spoke louder, played their music loudly, was more opinionated..... and then when you spoke to them, you realize that they actually have very little to say. They knew less and gossiped more. They were actually filling the empty void in their heads with noise! 

I think that's the same with republicans! 

I mean who the hell has the time to sit around and think about the ways to suppress other people , so you can control things when you could be living your life and making experiences! 

And worse, why are these men always hanging out with each other instead of mixing it up with others? Must be a very narrow perspective!

So proud of my country! 

Man shot dead in New Orleans while waiting in line for gas! 

Just amazing! He cuts in front and when confronted, he shoots his confrontee! 

And he was allowed a gun license I bet! 

Wonder what the NRA and the GOP are going to say about it? 

Maybe the NRA will subpoena the dead victim's school records, as the gun manufacturer is doing to the school kids in Sandy Hook? I guess those kids deserved to be killed, if they were troubled? 

Wonderful country!

I had heard about the murder at a gas line and thought that this really is a consequence of too many guns out there.  I'm not blaming guns but people, but clearly this man wasn't using his gun in self-defense but in anger over not getting his way about something.  In fact most murders are not really committed in self defense.  But that's a conversation in for another time.

Another bunch of guys stormed a school wanting to make a citizen's arrest when a child who might have been exposed to covid was removed and asked to "gasp" wear a mask. 

I know most of us are good people, understanding, friendly, helpful and patient, but the nonsense I've seen these days really depresses me.

The decline of a democracy is always sad and depressing.  We are busy repeating history here in the USA. The same people repeating historically relevant behaviors are largely the same people who are outraged by the accurate teaching of history in our schools. They are being led and manipulated into self-destructive national behaviours by emotional propaganda just like the people were 90 years ago.

Texas no longer requires a license or any training to own a gun.  Pretty sure how that's gonna work out with vigilantes going after every trivial offense they can find.

I think one of the problems with ignorance and the poorly educated is that people seem to live only in the present!

They always believe that what they are experiencing is unique to them and the problems they are experiencing can only be solved by them! 

As if for some reason, no one existed before them or were in the same situation that may have experienced similar problems and had already arrived at good solutions. 

That same attitude permeates upward and results in local, state or even national govts behaving in the same way. America is a prime example! We repeatedly make the same mistakes wasting tax payers money and a lot of it has to do with us being such ignorant, uneducated people who allow politicians and legislators to do it to us! 

Example, Texas abortion law! From the first day of Roe v Wade, republicans and right wing evangelicals have been trying to tear it down! Fifty years? And, no one incl women made contingencies? How many women's groups have been organized during that period and was it addressed? It's not like republicans have hidden their feelings or intentions? 

How many women voted for them in the last election or previous? How many women subscribe to the overwhelmingly patriarchal, baroque views of the Bible? How many instances can you find within the Bible of men suppressing women, making them 2nd class or even slaves? How recently did women get an opportunity to lead as in the church and in 85% likely, still cannot obtain the status of a leader? How many times are women abused and beaten in the Bible? 

Yet when you get a chance to vote or platforms to covertly address your issues or concerns, did you? How about black people? How about Jewish people? How about Hispanics? 

How do you initiate change? The solution is so simple! Life in America revolves around economic issues and voting blocs! You simply isolate and boycott! Politicians, companies or any institutions that demean you. And in today's world with the platforms of social media, it's inherently easy to organize!

I believe it's because they don't know better. 

How many women through education get exposed to a bigger world and change their aspirations? They no longer require a low brow man to provide for them or make their decisions and run their lives. 

You identify the weaknesses which is always money and power with republicans, and you take it away which prompts the change in their behaviors. Don't vote for them (loss of power), don't buy their products (loss of money), don't buy from anyone who contributed to the republicans, beginning with ULINE and Home Depot. I don't buy anything from either, despite the fact that they are probably better than the competition.

Vietnamese man sentenced to five years for spreading Covid!

That's what needed here. I honestly don't see the reason why such an infectious disease isn't criminally legislated! 

Aside from the deaths and the economic crisis and the numerous other ways it has decimated our country and the future of the long term effects on the people and the country, ignorance shouldn't be respected as a right! 

The only people who are antivaxxers are ignorant of the disease process and the vaccines. And I think it is cruel to expect an ignorant person to make a decision re vaccination or not.
