Actually, it wasn't my comment.  Rather, I quoted , in response to her or his post here:

What don't you understand.  Again, @SummerGarden seemed to be under the impression that these interpreters were American [citizens] thatbwe took to Afghanistan with us, and are running off and leaving, with no intent to bring home because they are "brown people," again, her term, not mine.  Nor did he or she seem to have a clue as to exactly how many people he or she was talking about.  Thus, I provided her a few military/defensed theme sites that I thought might be helpful.

We should have, of course.  Whether Mr. Trump's plan provided for the evacuation of the translaters and their families, I don't know.  However, it wasn't Mr. Trump that withdrew our troops from Afghanistan, it was Mr.  Biden; and he ultimately should have had a plan to do so 

Yes, it is.  Based on Mr. Biden's early assessment of his cabinet nominees, one would think that they could have developed a better plan.

Yes, I know this plan wasn't a good one but I quiver in fear thinking of Mike Pompeo trying to pull this off.  Doesn't the military have to take a big part of the blame?  They acted on bad intelligence.  Hmmmm.  Reminds me of another president who acted on bad intelligence and started a war.

Not to mention that the Trump administration actively roadblocked visa applications from Afghanistan.

So Biden's been bashed about Afghanistan and I think he should have tried trump's plan! 

He did come up with a master plan re inviting all the Taliban over to Camp David and then having some Hooter's waitresses be the servers and then he would take his mask off and infect them all with the Covid he has ????!

For once I agree with you Beerman. I think it's only prudent especially re the current pandemic to be safe instead of sorry. Numerous assessments could be conducted equally safely whether they are in Mexico or the US.

I'm also down with that decision.  Maybe we will learn to change some trade policies to make American companies move south to Latin America instead of China.  All that power available from the sun to make manufacturing cleaner.  Are you listening, Ivanka?

Trump loses again!

IMO, this is a significant decision! 

I'm just wondering which of trump's ex lawyers will turn state's evidence to lessen their punishments? I wouldn't trust any of them so I think that they will turn on each other and also trump. 

I'm hoping they drag Barr into the fray!
