What subjects is everyone taking at the moment?

HI everyone,

Semester 2 starts next week and I'll be taking

Pathophysiology & Pharmacology 2

Nursing practices (2weeks of clinical placement)

Child & Family Nursing

Sexual Health

What's everyone else taking at the moment???

The 2nd 8 weeks of medsurge.

I wasn't real thrilled with the first 8 weeks. I wasn't thrilled with the way my teacher lectured (but I tried to make it work the best I could), wasn't thrilled with my clinical rotation (a medsurge floor where the youngest person was age 50 and they all had a TON of meds and hardly any visitors).

We change lecture teachers in August. And I just found out my clinical rotation is at a different hospital (I have been at the same one since my first rotation LOL). AND it's an orthopedic floor. It's different, and we are actually studying joint replacement this next 8 weeks, so I'm kind of looking forward to it.

Then after this 8 weeks, we go on to the next level. Medsurge for 8 weeks, then leadership for 8 weeks. And THEN- preceptorship and graduation! I'm kind of beginning to see the end of a very, very VERY long tunnel :lol2:

i started taking A & P 1 begining of june but had to withdraw....i had an 88 average when i did but my husband is campaigning for assembly and i could not help out at all...was always studyin...so i took a leave...then i had a thought of taking it online in the fall.....anyone take either A & Ps online? if so, how was it?

I'm taking A & P online this September. I've done tons of online courses in the past and foudn them easy. The good thing about A & P online is that, as long as the exams are not proctored, you can have your notes and book in front of you, so you don't have to memorize each and every single little detail.

Just finished up Human Sexuality and Med Terminology. But I wont be done with Pharm and Patho until August 19th. I really wish I wouldve taken the summer off!!!

I'll be in first semester in the fall and since I have all the pre-req's... I think I'll just have Fundamentals of Nursing. I really have to idea what to expect but am excited for it to begin.:p

I will be starting my LAST qtr in the Fall and will be taking Critical Care & Peds. I will also be taking 3 portfolio class (requirements for graduation) Cardiac Rehab, Disaster Preparedness and Dealing with Violence. Then Winter qtr is an 11 week externship then GRADUATION!!!!!

Finishing my last week of Med-Surg I this week. I've been on a Uro/Gyno floor and have loved it. Then on to Psych for the rest of summer :devil:

I'm taking Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, Psychology, English, and this Education class the Community college I go to now require.
