This, of course will not prevent currents of craziness on Monday as the trick or treat anticipation builds inside their sugar craving little bodies. I will also not mitigate the number of belly aches on Tuesday due to over consumption of carbolicious crap.

The grade school my daughter attends is letting them dress up, and my sons' middle school is having a 7th grade Halloween dance this Friday. Which he was asked to go to....by a girl.

Oct 27, 2016 On Friday, each elementary class will have its own Halloween party and be able to wear their costumes (no props or masks). They are also having a bowling party as part of a quarter reward for behavior. Staff will probably dress up too. Monday will be a normal day. Our Jr/Sr high have been having a hallway decorating contest, so the halls kind of look like a haunted house!

Oct 27, 2016 Halloween hasn't been celebrated in my district for at least 10 years, probably more. They don't even say the word Halloween, they said "special holiday" during announcements. It's ridiculous.

It's not a religious holiday or sanctioned by any specific group... as far as I know
