I have a lot of textbooks that I don't want anymore. I remember I sold some back to a company over the internet last year but I can't rmember the name of it. Does anyone know the name of the website?
Thanks!

There are actually several of them. Just google something like "selling textbooks" and you'll get a lot of options back.

I sell all mine on half.com
It's super easy to use! They direct-deposit your $ into your bank account 2x per month, so you may have to wait a few weeks to see your $, but it's dependable.
There's also Ecampus.com, only bought from them, not sure how it works.

I sold some textbooks to findmybooks.com. They send you a check within 24 hours of receiving your books and shipping is free. Just follow the steps on the site and they will tell you up front how much they will pay you. They you print the mailing label and pricing label (how much they agree to pay). I found it to be very easy. They also send you an e-mail to verify the agreement. If I remember correctly, once you agree to sell, you have to send them within 7 days or so. Very easy. Hope this helps

I've been told that all the good nurses KEEP all their textbooks.

Kerry, someone lied to you... nursing is like any science... it is ever changing and so are the books. Your med surg book and maybe a fundamentals book is all you really need to keep. From there on you keep updating with new revised books. All good nurses keep educated!!!

I am planning on keeping all of my books. Maybe you should think about keeping yours. I don't think I'll ever let mine go.

I'll be keeping mine!! Even though they will become outdated, I like having a collection of books!

Just a thought no one has brought up: Older nursing books (unless they happen to acquire collector status for whatever the reason) are generally not worth very much.
We should realize upfront that we may spend money advertising them in various media only to ultimately end up eating those costs.

Congratulations on getting your license. :)
I've heard about nurses in Irak or other war/poor countries are desperate to get their hands on nursing books.
Just a thought....
Any idea on how to get them there? This sounds like a wonderful idea and I would love to it!
