What would you like to see in your scrubs?

Published

Hello everyone,

This is kind of random but I'm just doing a survey of what people would like featured in their scrubs?

I know a big thing is comfort, lots of pockets. What else are things you would like to have in your perfect scrubs? Ty in advance.

I'd like to see Halle Berry in my scrubs...

I once wore scrubs with Velcro on one of the pockets. I loved it because I put my personal stuff in there that I rarely need, but like to have on me: chapstick, phone, lotion, tampons, etc. The Velcro meant I didn't have to worry about it falling out.

I would really like to see some simple adult prints -- small checks, paisley, dots -- something that looks like any jacket a professional would wear to the office -- in muted colors, like brown and grey. I absolutely hate seeing all these cutesy prints and neon colors. No wonder nurses aren't taken seriously. Additionally, I have a hard time finding something that drapes well, and doesn't catch on my pants or keep riding up -- in other words, I'd like to see something silky, not stiff cotton. Lastly -- more three-quarter sleeves. Older nurses with flappy arms don't want to wear cap sleeves, and long sleeves with cuffs are often too warm. I end up buying the long sleeves and hemming them to elbow length.

71 is cold?????

If it was 71 on my until I would be sweating my booty off!

Wrinkle free. I hate ironing.

Soft. Nothing worse than canvas-like scrubs.

Also made for hips. Out of all my scrubs, there is one pair that don't try to sneak down my buttcrack and expose it. You would think that drawstring pants would be easy to fit, but this appears to be a mystery for most scrubs companies. That is with me being pretty proportional. I wouldn't consider myself to be particularly pear shaped, just woman shaped.

Non wrinkle fabric - I like the grays anatomy, but the pants just feel a little flimsy/pajama like to me and theye're too thin to be able to accommodate real side pockets without feeling like your pants might fall off. I like the construction of wonder wink but I hate the ironing. If someone found a middle ground between those two I'd happily fork over my money.

Adult sizing. All the scrubs I see in stores are either junior sized or unisex with no pockets.

And echoing the desire for three quarter sleeves.

The ability to buy women's scrubs that are not skin tight or slide down revealing ones backside. Currently I have to buy unisex and they are getting more and more difficult to find.

Fabric that is soft, wrinkle free, and durable. As far as fit, I am a small petite woman and I still have difficulty finding scrubs that keep my behind covered when squatting down or leaning over. This is the main thing I consider when purchasing my scrub pants as I don't want to be over exposed. I also like scrubs that are tastefully fitted and not excessively baggy

Something extra in the crotch area. I'm not overly fat at all but my thighs do touch and rub. In many of my scrubs I wind up with worn fabric and small holes in the upper thigh area while the rest of the pant is fine.
