Before you became a nurse, what were you doing/what was your job then? Just curious!
:yeah:nice questions (I am from Québec.. emigrated ,, actually I'm from Europe -Roumania) so ,... before I was dreamt to be a nurse (or more,..) but well I became just a chemist (organic chemistry) so I worked in this lab for 4-5 years and then moved to work with doctors at College of Physicians for a Palliative and EOL project (in Canada) so ... after this I was 100% determined to become an RN !! so this is it.. I love this ...:redpinkhe

Neat thread so thought I'd chime in on what I did...
vet tech / waitress (college jobs)
day care worker
inventory control for computer company (because working in daycare wasn't helping me save for grad school lol)
health insurance claims processor / customer service
child life assistant
psychometrist
nursing student / unit secretary
graduated college with a psychology degree...went to grad school and decided in grad school that instead of school psych i wanted to do child life...worked with a child life specialist for a year...was going to do the externship to get certified in child life but decided i was more interested in what the nurses did since they still dealt with the child and family AND got to do the fabulous medical stuff so here i am about to graduate from nursing school finally!! :)
fun thread...interesting to see all the responses
