Published

I take my Test THis monday the 14th.. and I feel Like I dont remember anything that I have been studing.. IM sooo Scared!!! I dont know what TO do... Maybe I should postpone the test... Everytime I quiz myself with 85 question I will get a 60%. What Should I do should I postpone it??? I dont think I could ever remember everything that on those disks.. IM soo Scared and Nervous:crying2:

You can do it!!!

It's normal to be nervous...

I originally was supposed to take the NCLEX on Feb 4th but chickened out and now I'm taking it the 18th. Now I'm kind of sorry...my brain feels fried and I have another week of freaking out to do.

I think you should just get it out of the way (but if you have a boyfriend, it might ruin your V-day, sounds like people feel AWFUL after the NCLEX).

I'll be thinking of you! Good luck!

Hi I took my test today. 2 hours and 85 questions for the PN test. I do feel nervous. One thing I noticed about the test is that its no way like the practice tests(saunders, mosbys, etc.) Alot of questions out of the blue. I now know that I should have focused more on diseases and diets. I feel I knew over 50% but will not know until I get my results. If I had to do it over I would just focus on the reading and not so much of the test questions. No matter how long you focus on this test Just relax you can do it...:)

I am in the same boat as you. I take mine on the 16th. I feel like the more I study the more I forget. Each piece of new info I put in my brain, I lose another. I don't feel ready. But I don't think I will ever feel ready. No way can anyone retain all the info on the test. so hopefully we have enough to get by from all the studying. Good luck to you!

I know this doesn't help, but I can empathize - I take mine in the 14th too.

Apparently (at least according to Kaplan) 60% is still pretty good. Good luck to both of us! :)

We all went through this.....

just eat a good meal, get good rest the night before, and go in there and tackle it. I freaked when the machine shut off at 76......

and yet, I did pass. Don't "psyche" yourself out of it.

yes, when i was testing myself, i would get 60% on questions - but i was just so tired of studying that i figured out i should just take it. i wound up having 265 questions. it was horrible. but i passed!!!!!!!!!!!!! i bet you know more than you realize. from my and my friends' experiences, it doesn't matter if you take 75 or 265, you will feel like you failed. it is too late now to reschedule, unless you wanna pay the fee again, but go into it feeling positive! relax after taking it, and have a wonderful valentines day. feeling blah afterwards is normal - but you never know - believe that you passed that test no matter how you feel when you come out of there. so far, there were 9 people in my class that graduated 1 month ago who took the test, and all of us passed. so, really it was a waste of energy for us to feel like we failed! spend vday not only with that special someone, but with that special "you," and be proud of the fact that you've made it this far...

good luck tomorrow - you will be in my thoughts and prayers...

christy, rn

ps...if you find yourself negatively thinking about the test during dinner or whatever, grab a napkin an sign your name with (rn, pn - whatever test you're taking) - it will keep you positive and make you smile!

Thanks Everyone for your support and kind words... I will let everyone how it goes tomorrow.. For now goodnight...

Good luck tomorrow Maire and Born2BANurse!!!
