Play with my 2 year old (which is sometimes more stressful than work though! Lol)
Run, yoga, read, journal, take a bath, get a massage, travel, go on a date night with my hubby for a good meal and a drink, shop (even online)
Some past hobbies I don't do much anymore are guitar and knitting.
Animals are good for stress too (I have 3 cats and live on a horse farm)
read (sometimes something relatedto work, like recently I read all of Ira Byock's books elated to palliative care) and sometimes a fiction book that will take me far, far away. yoga, meditation, mani-pedi's, dinner with girlfriends or hubby, walking my dog, binge watching friends on netflix, journaling, and sometimes just a good ol' griping session with co-workers!

As nurses we are all exposed to some form of stress, the good and bad. I am curious to find out what you guys do to let off some steam and release some stress. Keep it clean!
For me I started doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. It's a good workout and very therapeutic for me. There isn't any other training environment, where I can literally submit or choke a person unconscious. Well, they tap out before they pass out of courseðŸ˜
