Lovin Learning,
I to wanted to go on a cruise to celebrate graduation, but unfortunately my plans didn't work out. So my husband and I celebrated after I passed the NCLEX with a bottle of champagne and a cheesecake. My celebration wasn't as elaborate as I had first wanted, but it was still alot of fun!
I'm taking my famiy to Disney World for 9 days . . . but not until the end of the summer so I can make some $$$ first!Kelly
I would suggest that you go on your vacation before you start working. It might be hard getting time off so soon after starting a new job. Our teacher of our Nursing Outcomes class (teaches us about resume writing, job interviews ect) told us that a big no-no in an interview is to say "I can start work on such and such but I already have a vacation planned for such and such a date"

So, we were talking at study group about what we'll give ourselves for a graduation gift.
I am thinking (seriously) about taking a cruise on a small ship to Alaska in the summer of 2010...a 7 day cruise to see a part of the country I have always loved and wanted to get to. I have no idea how I'll pay for it, but I am really, really thinking about doing that.
And, I'll get a second horse when I have passed the NCLEX and have secured a job.
What's your graduation gift to yourself?
