If you could stock your unit which would you choose? They don't even have to be safety. What is the best performing one, in your opinion? Prices range from $1 to $7 per unit. Seriously? Is a Protectiv that much better than a Terumo Superflo? So if you had to stock your own, what would you buy?

BD Nexiva. Little bit of a learning curve, but I can't imagine going back to anything else.

Fantastic for long term use, but give me an old angio Cath for the hard to stick places.

I miss the Jelco brand ones that we used to have.

I loved our old Nexiva's. I learned with them and was a fantastic stick with them (alos used them for U/S placements). We also had Jelco's with the "via valve" blood control, which were nice too. Now we have a terribly inferior product (IMO), and are using the BD Insyte Autogard. They are junk compared to what we were using.

I like Insytes. That's what I learned on and that's what I am most comfortable with. I have also used Jelcos. Still like the Insytes better.

B Braun Introcan 20g 1.75" Safety IV. Best IV catheter I've ever used and perfectly visible on ultrasound.
