I am starting LPN this fall so I have:

Drug Administration

Infection Control

Clinical Competency 1

333 Theory Hours & 202 Clinical Hours

I am so excited!!!

Will be taking Gen Chem.

Then, by God's grace, off to Nursing school in Spring!!!!

I am taking Chem w/ lab on campus.

I am also taking Pharmacology and Medical Terminology online.

I plan to start clinicals in the Fall 05.

It is going to be a very busy semester...

I'm going to be taking

Nursing 115-Foundations of Nursing(6 cr hrs)

Nursing 210- Intro to Pharmacology(3 cr hrs)

Nursing 195-Special topics course(1 cr hr)

CIS 100- don't remember the exact "name" of the course but it's an introductory computer course using Office XP.(2 cr hrs)

For a total of 12 cr hrs, which is what I have to have to be full-time.

Nursing 200 Psychiatric/Mental Health & Med Surg Nursing

Two days of clinical/week

Would have had to take sociology but got that over with during the summer.

Specializes in Emergency & Trauma/Adult ICU.

Maternity/Newborn Nursing - 8 weeks - Aug. through mid-Oct.

Peds - 8 weeks - mid. Oct. through Christmas break

Both are two full days of class and two days of clinical each week.

I'm taking micro, Nurs 101 - the whole package of lab, lecture and clinical and intro to pharm. online 13 credits. I won't be working, so it won't be too bad.

I find out tomorrow at Orientation :D Can't wait either.
