I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.
"Yes ewwwww. Well there is no doubt about what her genitals look like is there? There is ample video and imagery a Gynecologist could diagnose HPV just looking at at that video and photo."

As I said I am unfamiliar with the story about Stormy Danielle's to make any definitive opinion.
Wealthy powerful men have been engaging with a vast supply of women for most likely all of history.
You think Trump weaponized the federal government against Stormy Danilells?
Yes, I think that you attacked her with those words.
Do you think there's evidence that he also weaponized against Daniels? That wouldn't surprise me. If you review my remarks you'll see that I was clearly talking about the DOJ treatment of Trump's former lawyer.

The victims are more likely to complete a suicide with the gun that kill their abuser.

Cyntoia Brown. Chrystul Kizer. I'm sure there are others.

I would agree that I made a derogatory comment. My standard was beached because the member I replied to was talking about the shape of Trump's member. Completely ridiculous.
I said I am not very familiar with this topic so I do not think anything.
However there is more issues worthy of discussion than Stormy and her description of Trump's genitalia and if he may have used the DOJ to do something.
Like minors running around with guns.
I wonder if some of the victims would have used it if they did have a gun? Or if the perpetrators knew they had a gun would have deterred them?

The question was why did you attack her with that derogatory language... you don't even know much about her. It seems like it is because she is a detractor or opponent of Trump. There must be some other reason.
Trump abusing his power by directly influencing the DOJ to prosecute or imprison a citizen because of a personal political agenda or grievance IS worthy of discussion... unless law and order really doesn't matter in this country. And... at the risk of repeating myself, congress feels that such "weaponization" is important as well and they are conducting hearings on the matter.
Speaking of minors running around with guns, Missouri Republicans recently thought that was OK. Maybe it wasn't good enough for them to be in the top ten for gun deaths and violence... maybe they're aiming for #1.

True that is. Just not me:)

I'd have to agree youth running around free with fire arms should not be allowed. However I'll have to see what exactly the Repunlicans are saying about this. I will not rely on one peice of media.

It kind of sounds like this is related to a beef that the Republicans have with the liberal prosecutor(s). Did they really just pass a law that is projected to increase gun crimes to make life hard for the prosecutor and give them fodder for criticism?
Are Missouri Republicans that cynical?

Yes! And if they were really interested in law and order, you'd think they would respect what the police are asking for. Their twisted interpretation of the 2nd amendment is an insult to law enforcement.
This caught my attention today...
QuoteA homeowner demanded utility workers leave his property and "displayed" a handgun resulting in his arrest, police said.
On Thursday morning, Feb. 9, utility workers were running fiber optic cable across a residential driveway on Big Creek Road in Big Creek Township, Oscoda County, according to a news release from Michigan State Police. The workers attempted to contact the homeowner before beginning the project, but no one answered the door, police said.
Isn't the term "brandish" not display? This guy seems unstable...I wonder how many guns he owns.

Not necessarily. Brandishing typically refers to waving or flourishing the weapon in a threatening manner. Displayed might mean he held it at his side in such a manner that the utility workers could see that he had it.

Unstable? Perhaps. It would be interesting to read a more detailed accounting of how exactly Mr. Thomas "displayed" his weapon.

Yes, more information would be welcome. It seems unlikely that he would have been arrested and charged with assault had he simply revealed the weapon but police surprise me all of the time. I do think that it's unstable to "display" a weapon and demand that utility workers leave your property when they are simply doing their jobs.
