I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

Probably from the same place he gets his gross annual income, fancy alphabet soup after his name, deep compassion for fetuses, alpha male fantasies and his pro-Putin schtick … just distal to his descending colon.

My gross annual income comes from a ton of 99214+90833 all day M-F and some concierge visits remote on the weekend.
You do know this is a nursing board right? There are likely to be some PMHNPs here such as myself...... Why do you put down nursing titles? Alphabet soup? That is something a Physician or PA-C says to discredit the nursing profession and people with advanced degrees.

Canadian immigration to US is growing, around 45,000 people immigrated here last year while 7500 left the USA for Canada.

Yes, this piqued my interest as well. The only source I was able to find citing these numbers was a Quora thread.
This WaPo opinion piece includes a graphic displaying Canadian to US immigration and US to Canada emigration during the Bush, Obama, and Trump administration.
Canadian to US immigration peaked at ~22,000 in 2005, trending downward to <10,000 in 2020. During this time US emigration to Canada fluctuated between 5,000 and ~11,000.

Thank you. I'm just adding that much of Canada is inhabitants and the population is dispersed unequally to their southern border. It's becoming crowded and expensive. The US can look pretty warm to someone in Edmonton (sometimes the coldest place on earth). It's cheaper to live in the far north of US than far south of Canada.
QuoteWhen the House Jan. 6 committee wrapped up its work in recent weeks, it posted hundreds of records online, including interview transcripts, audio recordings and text messages.
Also buried in the massive cache was a spreadsheet with nearly 2,000 Social Security numbers associated with visitors to the White House in December 2020, including at least three members of Trump’s Cabinet, a few Republican governors and numerous Trump allies.
While the spreadsheet with the numbers was taken down Wednesday, the high-profile nature of the people whose data was exposed probably puts them at an “elevated risk” because the information would be especially useful to intelligence agencies, said James Lee, chief operating officer of the Identity Theft Resource Center, a nonprofit organization that advises victims of identity crimes and compromises.

What a mess the GPO made. Despite this being a rogue's gallery of miscreants, it's providing no schadenfreude. I'm sure the House will add this to their laundry list of investigations and I hope both parties can cooperate even though it's too late to provide any justice for the miscreants involved. This is an egregious violation.

It seems you have befallen on misinformation.
Are you trying to rationalize or justify the racist behavior of the caucasion slavers in North America? It must be one of the two because you certainly arent defending it by pointing out other brutality from other people in other places.
Keep trying...I personally don't think that the slavery and vestigial racist threads woven into our culture and society can be justified or rationalized by pointing to the crimes of others...but maybe you think so.
Btweet said:This is false. The links I provided included all perpetrators of slavery. It would seem others became "royalty" and benefitted just as much within their own country and race.
It was another member suggesting that it is a "caucasion men" that were at mostly at fault. I provided sources and facts that state otherwise.Doing so does not suggest that I or anyone else is avoiding accountability. The "right wing members" were providing a a fact to an inaccurate belief to the obvious racial discrimination of "caucasions" as the main perpetrators of slavery. Which is a historical inaccuracy. As the sources state.
Slavery is a stain on humans. A evil act carried by all who are human. Not by a skin color.
Did you know there is still slavery happening right now? In Africa and other places? However not in North America? I think the angry feelings of those who like to express their emotions would be more productive if they focused on modern-day slavery. Instead of attempting to demoralize an entire race by atrocities committed in the past by people who are not alive nor are the people they enslaved. For political gain.
(Before you start, my last statement does not in any which way downgrade accountability or the suffering of those who are no longer living).
Never forget! But remember it all, not just part of history.
On the North American continent caucasions were the slavers. Should I just wait for you to protest that there were slavers of color and try to pretend that slavery in the American South was an equal opportunity endeavor?
Your entire premise seeks to minimize the brutality of racist caucasions in the antebellum south.

It's a bit unsettling that this man who is so connected to the 45th president while seemingly disconnected from honor, integrity or patriotic duty is 3rd in line for the presidency.

Racist much? I think it's the result of an angry 6 year old in possession of a gun.
