I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.
According to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.
A family of 8 was found dead in a small town in Utah, thought to be a murder-suicide. The 42 year old father is thought to have killed his MIL, wife and children. Red state, non-urban area. Not as publicized as the child-teacher shooting. Perhaps because the media can’t blame Biden?

Nobody is trying to deny America's history in slavery. What do you think should be done? Slavery was a legal practice in America and people paid money out of their own pocket to own slaves then one day it was suddenly illegal. Many people think that reparations are due to the descendants of the slave owners who suffered financial catastrophe almost overnight but personally I think it's time to get over it. While reparations for descendants of slave owners could help ease the financial repercussions that trickled down generation to generation, I think it would be to difficult to calculate and there are much more serious matters at hand in America right now such as the rise of alt left extremism, black supremacy, pro-pedo movement, drag queen story hour, holocaust denial, CRT in schools, etc.
I will agree with you in one respect: there is no way paying individual reparations to people could ever work if the goal is justice. But we could do more to provide more solid educations to children in the worst circumstances. You know, level playing field and all that.

I don't think you understand what America's longest civil rights organization the NRA is. They aren't "gathering donations of guns and ammo for teachers". Most people making claims that teacher should be carrying arms are just left wing trolls. We do need metal detectors in schools but since school shootings are so incredibly rare there is no need for a teacher to be carrying.

Health care access is part of the reason they come here. The United States has the best healthcare system in the world with the most advanced procedures available. Why would a person enjoy waiting 2 years for a knee replacement when they can see an ortho here so quickly?

I've lived and worked both in US and Canada. Although I like my private coverage in the US, there's more to the wait times in Canada.
I had a breast tumor. Before the pathology report even came back, as non malignant, I was fast tracked for mastectomy and subsequent chemo and radiation. Naturally, other elective non essential surgeries were delayed. So yes, someone may have to wait for that knee replacement, but it's probably most likely that someone else needing life saving surgery goes first. Need is prioritized, not ability to pay or dependent on private health insurance.
Some wait times are long, however I have no complaints from the Healthcare I recieved when I lived in Canada.

Where as I agree that, how you put it, "hood culture" and the violence associated with it is under reported and down played by MSM and "far right gun extremist" is amplified, I do not think allocating violent crime to respective groups is helpful.

I find your immigration numbers hard to believe, especially to have them for last year, only 7 days into this year. Do you have a reputable source for that data?
