Just got my email stating I'm graduating for the ADN-BSN this week, I'm 38. I also got the good email stating I'll be starting at George Washington University in the fall for BSN-DNP, so by the time I'll be done with that I'll be 44.

ADN one month prior to turning 49, BSN will be completed three months before turning 52. I took a year and a few months off between my ADN and starting my BSN.

for the ones who answered 30+, did you have trouble applying for a job due to your age?

Not at all. You don't have to put your age down on your resumes.

I have gotten the same demand for jobs as I did in my 20s, as in my 30s...maybe even more so now...

ASN 43, BSN 50. I am 56 and expect to complete my MSN in November. :-)

Congratulations on your MSN! I love to see posts like this. It gives me hope! I'm an LPN of 20 years and just starting on my ASN. I'll just turn 43 when I graduate so this gives me hope. Thank you! Thanks to all of you for your posts of encouragement! I truly believe your never too old and your posts are proof of this!
