Western University MSN-E 2015 Applicants

Hi all,

I'm new to allnurses and haven't seen a thread on Western yet for 2015. Just wanted to start it to see who else is applying so we can all give each other moral support!

I saw that every year the application deadline is postponed? Do you think it will be happening this year as well?

For the interview process, does anyone know if the faulty members have a copy of your application in front of them to reference?

I'm not sure, they had an ipad and some papers in front of them. Not sure if it pertained anything to our app.

Someone in my interview group clarified with the admissions coordinator at the end of the interview day. She said that acceptances/rejections will be sent out 2-3 weeks after the LAST interview- so in March.

Hi! I'm new to this thread. I just received my invitation for the Early Acceptance Opportunity Day, which is on Feb 19th. Is anybody else going that day? It would be nice to coordinate carpooling and/or hotel and other stuff. Congrats to everybody who has been receiving encouraging news.

Is any applicant coming on 12 or 19 of February ?

I am trying to figure out the logistics. I'd like to come and so far I've figured out that LA/Ontario Airport is pretty close to campus (about 20 minutes by car, according to Google Maps). I'd be interested in carpooling from Sacramento/Oakland/San Jose, etc.

What does everyone recommend as far as hotels/couchsurfing? I can't do private messages yet but you can email me at my username at gmail.

I went to EAOD on Jan. 15 and I stayed at the Comfort Inn on 1421 Geary Ave. If you fly in, definitely choose Ontario Airport and try to rent a car if you can't find out a ride situation. Cabs would roughly be the same price to/from airport and campus. A tip that hasn't been mentioned yet would be to definitely put yourself out there, but remember to be yourself!

BTW, congrats to everyone that got accepted/interviews thus far. I've already sent in my deposit and I am excited to start school in the fall!

Hello! I got my acceptance letter this morning and I attended the EAOD on 02/12/15. Has anyone else heard back?? :)
