  1. It could be that some of the people who are #14 to #24 decided that they didn't want to be on the waitlist anymore.
  2. Personally for me I'm not too concerned about it because I know we start clinicals fairly early in the school year, and also, after 1.5 years... we will be able to get our RN license... so that 1.5 year that it is online-based, we have the opportunity to find a job and work as RNs and that's is the most hands-on you can probably get.
  3. I emailed her this past Sunday and just got a reply on Tuesday. so two days.
  4. I emailed RF about updates and here's her reply: "As of now, all slots have been filled. But, in case there are any changes you are now number 6 on the waitlist." I was #25 on the waitlisted before.
  5. nope, I haven't gotten anything. when did you receive this?
  6. ah thank you so much! I actually won't be attending this summer anymore, I got into a California school.
  7. Congrats to everyone who got in and everyone who is patiently waiting. For those who got into UCLA or want to get into UCLA, why was UCLA one of your top choices?
  8. Just got an email today from UCLA at 12:51 PM today. Waitlisted for #25. Last name starts with an S. I'm really sad about it, but I'm just happy that I got into my other top choice school. Good luck to everyone else and keep working towards your goal, and whatever school you all end up choosing, just know that everything works out for the best.
  9. no point worrying. just wait.
  10. congrats! would you mind sharing your stats and extracurriculars?
  11. Any former or current MECN students here who can answer a few of my questions?
  12. Congrats! if you checked the earlier posts (it's not too far back), bro.nurse created a Facebook group for the cohort.
  13. @BruinMECN2016 (1) Why did you choose UCLA over all the other schools? Did UCLA's MECN program live up to your expectations and what do you love about it? If you could elaborate on your experience there so far, that would be great. (2) What would you say the estimated budget (everything included -- tuition, rent, books, etc.) is for the two years MECN program? Thank you!
  14. stay hopeful! different schools look for different things.
  15. ah really?! that's my first time hearing that and I really hope so! I got into Western too, and if I got into UCLA I would have a hard time deciding, especially since the total cost would be so much cheaper at UCLA.
