Hi all,

I'm new to allnurses and haven't seen a thread on Western yet for 2015. Just wanted to start it to see who else is applying so we can all give each other moral support!

I saw that every year the application deadline is postponed? Do you think it will be happening this year as well?

I haven't heard anything or had any response to my voicemails or emails. We just have to be patient and hope for the best. Good luck everybody

Does anyone know how many people were put on the alternate list? I just called the other day and they said the incoming class is still not set and stone yet...

I'd like to hear back too from them I made alternate but I have no idea how they select people. August is when it's cut off

I was on the alternate list and just received my acceptance via email today at 11:17am. I'm going to decline which will offer a seat. Best of luck :)

Hi all!

I was on the alternate list and just received my acceptance email today! I am not sure if I will be accepting yet since I live out of state and I only have a few weeks to figure everything out! But i'll keep you posted if I give up my spot.

When is the first day of school? is it August 1st?

I believe that orientation is the week of August 3, and then classes will start the following Monday on August 10.
