Hi ,I m new to allnurses and I have a question anyone enrolled in Western Governors University B.S. online Nursing Program and live outside of CA. I am an LPN and looking at my options between Excelsior and WGU.Thank You for your input.
Hi everybody, I was wondering if anybody can give some information on wgu's rn to bsn program. I am hoping to get started in a couple of months. Is it really possible to get the 23 credits done in 6 months? For the community health class is there a presentation that has to be made at a facility? Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanx so much!
Anyone have any info on their BSN program? Is it all online? Do you have to live in the area of the clinicals or is it possible to travel? I am trying to find the fastest way possible to get my BSN as a second degree. Any info helps. Thanks!
There is info on their prelicensure program here: BSN with RN License | Online RN Degree | Online Nursing School
Looks like it's not really an accelerated program.
Hi Christy,I'm happy to finally get to speak to someone who attends. I also graduated from EC, in 08/10, & attempted to start WGU 11/1 but still stuck w/choosing other schools. Anyway, how are the assessment , did you apply for there rolling scholarships, did you buy any textbooks, & how many units do you need to do the MSN. I'm doing the BSN & starting 12/1 & need 23 units including the EWB so I hope to be done soon, I just rec'd my webcam today (hehe). Sorry for all the questions! but thanks in advance for answering!
I would really appreciate some details too if you get a chance.
Thanks
Hi, i just sent you a PM. I don't have a lot of time to check this site so if you ask me something I may not get for a week or so. I sent you my private email and would be glad to answer any questions you have about WGU. I love it, will be done with my BSN by end of Jan and started Oct 1st!! It's hard but completly doable.
