Its been out for a year, so 3 reviews doesn't look like it has taken off or anything. Those reviews also sound very generic with common vocabulary and all giving 5 stars. Then there were 6 added today that you can't see yet (I wonder who could have done that?). The average is now 3 stars.
They are on Facebook "Get My Nurse", found this on their FB page:

But the app and that article are a year old. Perhaps this isn't/won't catch on anywhere.
I could not download the app on the AppStore to either the iPad or iPhone. I did send them a well worded email detailing how I hoped they had made money & that their all lines Liability Insurance was paid, as they were treading into risky territory.
Tracking anyone is a very BAD idea & asked if they thought that the "app" could have uses beyond the pale? Like tracking a partner in stalking or domestic violence situations - or - if an irate family wanted to know when a nurse left the confines of a facility and be waiting. The fact is "they don't know".
Also, breechs of PHI is such a serious matter & that's it's own liability issue.
Anywho, I did tell them to make sure they had good insurance, cause they would certainly need it sooner or later in today's climate. And not to think for a hot second that any LLC would absolve them of criminal liability if their magic app led to someone (a nurse) being stalked, assaulted or worse.
Good times!
I cannot deal with any more STUPIDITY today. I may have hit my limit for the week. It has been a crappy day & while I rarely send hateful email, this one was ... necessary. Though it wasn't so much hateful, as disagreeable. What a$$hats. I'm done.

I wondered how they were making their money since the app is free. None of these costs are specified on the iTunes page. I looked on their website for "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy" but just got an "Error - 404" page.
Scary thing is that most people would probably agree to the terms of use (the screenshots that someone showed) without really understanding the implications.
No way would I ever give anyone my phone number. If some unknown person or robocaller calls the nursing station, can we acknowledge a patient is hospitalized there? Sounds like a HIPAA situation.
If I answered a call light and the patient said, "Oh, you came because GetMyNurse called you", I would say, "Phone call? What phone call? I came because you put on your call light."

Meh.
They THINK the response was faster...but I would bet there is not actual data to support that. The purpose of the app is to acquire PHI.
