I did not see any thread on AUGUST 2009 support group, so i decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test first time. :welcome: and Join the excellent group!!

congrat queens! i knew you had passed! i did the rutgers review as well so hopefully doing all of those nclex 3500 and 4000 plus excram and saunders will help me on friday!

no doubt, you will pass with flying colors! you sound more than prepared. just an fyi, the topics covered in rutgers nclex review were almost every topic i had on my test (except for a couple of drugs & scabies). i reviewed my notes from rutgers the two days before the test (and acronyms the morning of). the month before i did only 1500 questions of nclex 3500 (the questions encouraged by rutgers'), read every rationale, and wrote down all my weak subjects, and then used my textbooks from class to review my weak areas. you sound like you are better prepared than i was.

i had been reading here on allnurses for the last couple of years, never posting, just reading. this, along with school putting the fear into me, is what had made me soooo nervous. then when the test questions seemed easier than i imagined, easier than many of our nursing school finals... i started to doubt myself. do not do this! carefully read those questions and answers. select your answer; and be confident in yourself! do your breathing exercises. pray to your god. remain calm. if unsure go with you first pick. you will do it...you are almost there! :yeah:

THANKS MS RN! i NEED THIS SO MUCH I AM READY TO CONQUER! I AM GOING TO TAKE 265 TEST TODAY REVIEW RATIONALS. LOOK AT INFECTION CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT. JUST RELAX I AM GOING ON VACATION TO THE ISLANDS FOR A WEEK SO I AM GOING TO DO SOME PLANNING AND PACKING TO GET MY MIND OFF THE TEST. PLEASE SAY A PRAY FOR ME! i WISH YOU ALL THE BEST. I am taking mine tomorrow too for the second try. for the last week, i only have 3-5 hours of sleep due to anxiety. The questions and strategies keep popping up in my head.

yes girl i understand! Yes we can do it! I am about to start my testing now wanted to come on here to get some encouragement. I know we will make it thats not a doubt. Just go in tomorrow and give it your all block out everything and just do it. I am praying in my mind right now on confidence, anxtiey, and fatigue. I feel like i should be studying right now i think I should do some questions and work on my weak areas a lil. Cramming is not going to help. I been studying since april for this test so you know I am fully ready to give my all. Best of luck! I am praying for you. Be confident and believe in your self.

I'm super nervous! I'm taking NCLEX-PN in 2 days!!! This will be my second attempt. I haven't taken it since January. I studied harder this time and I'm trying not to psych myself out! My last day of reviewing was today. I'm taking all of tomorrow off for myself to try and relax. I reallly need to pass so I can apply to the RN program next semester. I have so many diseases, terms, meds, lab values, etc running through my head. Any suggestions on how to relax? Also, any suggestions on how to read and focus on the question being asked? I'm a horrible test taker and tend to freeze up on test. I'm trying to avoid that!

Any comments will be appreciated!

Re: Pearsonvue "Trick"..is this TRUE? Does it Work? Make sure you enter your username and password, or you won't get anywhere. This thread has so much filler and rumors and incorrect information, it's amazing that anyone can find all the correct steps and descriptions of the 3 things that can happen. So...

HERE ARE THE EXACT STEPS TO SEE IF YOU PASSED OR FAILED THE NCLEX EXAM ON THE PEARSON VUE WEB SITE:

1) Go to http://www.vue.com/nclex.

2) Select the 'Test Taker Services' tab at the top.

3) Click 'Register' on the right side.

4) Click the 'Credit Card' link.

5) Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) Enter your Username.

7) Enter your Password.

8) Click the button.

9) Click 'Register' on the left side.

10) Select your test type.

11) Click the button.

12) Select your country.

13) Click the button.

14) Answer the yes/no questions.

15) Select your country again.

16) Select your state.

17) Type in your city.

18) Click the button. A list of schools should appear.

19) Select your school.

20) Select the month and year of your graduation.

21) Select your board of nursing.

22) Click the button.

Hey I just took the nclex got 75 questions not really sure what to think god only knows. I wanna try the pearsonvue but kinda scared.

hi I took nclex 8/19/09---checked the result today 8/21/09.

i passed the nclex-rn......im now RN---Real Nurse!

thank you for this trend...pearsonvue trick works for me.

Thanks alot! I am gonna check tomorrow nite with mom. I feel like i did the best i could do! I am praying that my ending results are passed. Thanks once again!:wink2:
