Weigh in Time Ladies

Hi everyone. I think it is best to keep this on our bb. As it may get lost on the off topic bb. things fly by so fast over there

So I had a cheat day yesterday. I am back on track again today. My cheat wasn't too serious but it still was. Sometimes it is just so hard. Anyways I have 10 pounds off so far. My goal weight is 150lbs. I try to exercise every day. I haven't done anything yet but today isn't over yet. How is everyone else doing?

I am trying to lose weight too. I think a "buddy system" is a great idea. I just recently gained a lot of weight over the past couple of years. I had been, well what my friends said was "too skinny" (110 lbs) about , wow, I guess it was about 3 years ago. Once I started eating more...well I gained too much weight. I currently am 5'7 and weigh 160. I gained it my last year in high school and first year and a half in college. So, my long term goal is 125-130...but right now I'd be happy at 140. I get up at 5:30 every morning for school to drive there 45 min. away to exercise before class. I apply for nursing school in the spring! (any good recomendations for Florida BSN schools?) Anyway, Good luck to everyone...

Hey Russell of course you can join in! We all need to support one another, no matter what chromosome we carry! Good luck and hang in there! Heather

no, i don't wanna step on that scale! Today saw the side of me in a mirror when going pee...........egad it was frightening. Sometimes it seems so tempting just to stop eating all together, so I wouldn't have to make decisions concerning food.

But no, I know that healthy is my goal not skinny or even plump at this point:eek: so I need to keep plugging away. I think my new sin is too many latte's. You know too much milk and sugar, and cookies. I tried to stop, but all my friends were getting one!:p Yes I gave in to PEER PRESSURE. Someone really ought to do a documentary on me........"I got sucked in by all my friends, they were doing it, it seemed so innocent" "Later they found her unzipped with crumbs on her boobs, it was frightening!".

Okay enough with the dramatics, I need help!

Can i join the program???

I work in a nursing home and weigh myself once a week. I now weigh 170 and am hoping to get to 150. I have not really cut down much of my eating as i dont eat much anyways, just trying to change what i eat. I have cut back my Mt. Dew intake to one a day(I used to drink a good 5-6 a DAY!!!)

I also measure myself every two weeks and the inches seem to come off faster than the pounds. It really helps keep me on track because I am one of those immediate gratification type of people. If i don't see quick results, i quit. So hopefully you all can help keep me on track so i don't give it up and eat an entire chocolate cake in one sitting.

I have come to the conclusion that if I can find a way to mount this computer to my treadmill I would probably walk 10-15 miles a day. LOL.

Anyways, i can hear the motor of my treadmill calling my name. (sigh).

OK, all of the Holloween candy is onsale now. Sucker for the little twizzler candies...need to lose at least 30 pounds before this summer because I'm actually taking an "away" vacation.

Sooooo, am going out to get a stationary bicycle (treadmills just don't sound like much fun to me...work in an ER and do enough walking around for my taste!!) and hope that helps .... even just a little.

Guess I'm jumping on the "weight-loss" wagon with everyone now.....everyone squeeze over please!! LOL!:p

Hey! What a great thread! I am 5'4" tall and now weigh 149. In April of 2002 I was up to a whopping 180 and really lost the first 31 lbs quite easy. Actually I had lost down to 138 and have gained back in the past couple of months because I completley quit the diet thing and started pigging out again. Anyway I need to lose 24 more pounds to reach my ultimate goal weight. And I would love toreach that before my next anniversary in Febuary. When we got married some9.5 years ago I was barely 115 but after 2 kids and no excersizing, I went up to almost 200 lbs!!! I am starting my diet back tommorrow morning (actually tonight since I work third shift). I look forward to keeping up with everyones progress!!
