  1. Geleesa, your response shows you aren't taking to heart the advice you've been given...You can't expect to only get the answers you want or why even ask, you know. I responded very kindly on the last page, I really hope you take that to heart, and read the thread Heather posted & maybe even talk to the member who started that thread. Sometimes it's hard (oh how I know that) but you have to say, hey that came out wrong or I meant to say it this way & no hard feelings a fresh start...but to keep retorting sarcastically will get you no help.
  2. My comments only go to the poster as advice on the bulletin board...when you come into a new group of people especially one this large, and post in a general area it's much like walking into a large sports arena full of nurses and shouting "Why are all nurses mean?!!!" what kind of response do you think you'll get. Be cautious, considerate and come with open arms that say "I'm here to learn" and you'll be amazed the difference in responses you'll get. Lose the attitude, seriously, coming from another student and very involved member. I'm sure you have lots to contribute. A more appropriate way to ask is to say, I'm having this problem yada yada, how can I remedy the situation? And I bet your responses would be much different...I also bet you'd get a ton of encouragement. It's often not what we say, but HOW we say it. I LOVE the search feature, you'll learn a plethra on just about any subject too, so it is good that you were told to try it, it's an important tool. Whew. where'd that come from, eh? Can I have a drink now???
  3. Yep. I'm expecting to see them on the cover of Time or Life or whatever, if they haven't been already, maybe they have.
  4. Hmm I think Penii?
  5. Hehehe been there, done that Jessy. Ok, not exactly the same bumpy situation but you know. There is no way to get him to go, but in my case I told him I was tired of pestering him & that if it killed him I didn't care since I'm his beneficiary Oh well. I know the frustration of people assuming you are now ready to diagnose them since your in nursing school, then not wanting to hear, hmm you should see your doctor. You've done what you can. Stick around the board Hey I haven't said member yet...ah there all better...
  6. exactly...or ones I think of have had to drop out or are still going..and going... and will be going for ever because it is usually impossible to really focus on a real classload and still go to all the parties and skip class. The kinship you'll feel with your classmates & the pride you will feel when you have a career waiting for you after you hard work in nursing school is what makes up the college experience. School is what you make it, maybe you just need to take some time off to decide what you really want. I had a year off & it was the best thing to get me in the right direction.
