I'm thinking about picking up another class for the semester because the ones I'm currently taking aren't very challenging and don't require much outside work. Principles of Chem (less than 1 hr of homework), Yoga (no homework!), Brain and Behavior (no book=no outside work), Sign Language 1 (very little outside work). Edukan offers A&P 1 starting in March and running for 8 weeks. Do you think that's doable? I've already taken an A&P class a couple of years ago that isn't acceptable anywhere, so I feel like it won't be as tough as it would be for some people, but I don't want to get in over my head at the same time.
What do you think?
Also, they say in the syllabus that you should buy the books through eCampus, but do you see any reason why I couldn't buy through Barnes & Noble? They're quite a bit cheaper.

I' am sooo ready for this class to start! Maybe because I'm so bored in my other classes - whoa, that's never happened before! The ADAM lab book is the paperback workbook that has the interactive anatomy software with it.

It is doable since you already took it. Just stay on top of the materials because if you fall behind you done. Just make sure you rewrite your notes as soon as possible. If you can tape the class, I would. Good luck to you.
It's a consortium of community colleges located in Kansas that has distance education program open to adults no matter where you live. Great variety of classes, including the basic sciences, which makes it easy to knock out many of the prerequisites without going to campuses. The schools are accredited but you need to make sure you're transferring college will accept the credits because not all do. Very reasonable prices. Well, to my knowledge, no lab book came with the text...there is a CD packaged with the book that gives you access to an anatomy website but all of our labs are coming from the A.D.A.M. book. You still have time to get it, assignments aren't due until the end of the week. So if you got to Edukan's bookstore online, it appears to be in stock and they can ship it right away. I would suggest expedited delivery or overnight delivery so that you can get it in time...it'll cost ya but at least you'll have it and not get behind. Glad you got the book! It won't take you very long to do the lab so don't stress too much about it. It doesn't seem like there was very much for this first one, but the others will probably be longer. Good luck to everyone!
