Wearing hoods inside your building.

Curious..... Are your students allowed to wear hoods in the building ?

No hoods in the building ever.

Hoods are not allowed. We did have 1 temporary exception for a kid for psychological purposes a few years back.

Our NJHS does a a fundraiser a few times a year where if you donate a dollar, you can wear your hat to school so long as it's not big, obnoxious, and distracting. Otherwise, hats aren't allowed either.

Our no hood/at policy has less to do with respect and more to do with being identifiable on the cameras.

No hoods or hats. Hats only on the occasion "Wear your favorite Hat to school day".

We have a very relaxed dress code. Hats, hoods, brightly colored hair (even teachers) are allowed. We mainly enforce the modesty part of dress codes.

No hoods or hats (except on "special hat" day) are allowed. If students come into my office with a hood on, I always tell them they have to remove it.

Otherwise no dress code, except belly buttons cannot show!

Yeah, around here girls are in short skirts and boys in shorts well into the freezing temperatures. Our building also tends to get heavily air conditioned even in the warmer weather. I tell kids that they need to put some clothes on if they're cold.

Well, even in normal schools it isn't allowed (I'm applying to a nursing program, but in high school we have the no hood/hat rule) My high school does have a nursing vocation, and their uniform is scrubs or you can have the senior hoodie (no hood up) or shop hoodie on. Most people either love scrubs or hate them, so they will wear the sweatshirt. I don't know about the college I'm going to though, as the requirements don't mention the dress code.

The rule used to be strictly enforced, however, now no one seems to care. Maybe I’m old school, but I believe in hats off in the building. I make them take them off in the clinic.
