Let the stalking begin. Letters should be comming out in about two weeks. Anyone else waiting? I applied with a 3.8 and 81 NET all classes done and done at WCCCD.

yea I'm waiting also counting down the days.. I applied with a 3.8 in pre reqs 3.5 overall. All coreqs done and 76 on the NET. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I have a friend who is in the program and recently went up to the campus to get her syllabus, I asked her to ask them when were the sending out the letters. She said the lady told her it may not be until the end of August because they are behind.. not sure what to think of this I'm just hoping the woman doesnt know what she's talking about because I'm ready to know NOW!

The nursing department is behind on something? How unusual! (Oh, the sarcasm.) Didn't the Fall 2009 letters go out near the end of April? A friend of mine got hers on 4/24, I think, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's when ours start arriving.

I have a 4.0 GPA, 85 NET, so I'm not stressing about that; I'm just being paranoid about having left out something on the application. I went over it 14 times (I wish I was joking!), but just the same... nb.gif

I also applied for the program and am awaiting a letter whether it's denial or acceptance. I highly doubt i will get in but i chose to apply anyways. I have a 3.4 gpa, 62 on NET, all at wcccd, all co reqs. Im running out of classes to take. lol. I got a B in a&p1 and 2, & micro. I am currently redoing one for an A just in case i don't get in. And I am taking a CNA class in August. I figure i will get more points with a CNA cert. than redoing 2 and micro. (i hated micro and i took 2 and micro together last semester) Not to mention i want the CNA cert. so i can start working in a medical setting vs. my current employment. Good luck all. Just wanted 2 say I hope u all get accepted, I know the waiting is torture! I got accepted for fall 09 as an alternate, then a spot became available. It's been a long hard road. So good luck 2 all waiting for spring 2010!!!

That's great Lunden! I say you were an alternet so I am glad you got in. Logans momma that is a good idea because you get points for CNA. I got a B in micro also and refuse to take it over. LOL

I am for sure. Lol While I'm at work, i keep calling home saying did the mail go? who checked it? Did i get anything? lol. OMG i can't take it much longer i need to know!

Same here. Logically, I know there's no way the letters are going out this soon - probably around the 20th, maybe? - but I couldn't stop myself from racing to the mail-box yesterday, and cursing loudly today when I realised that it's Sunday. :lol2:

I just called the nursing office and was told that they "hope" to have the letters out by the END of August. What!!!! That is like forever away!!! So I guess we can all relax a bit and leave our mail carriers alone for a few weeks :-)! Good luck to all!

Just thought I'd mention that I just talked to a friend of mine (also waiting to start Spring 2010) who said she called the Nursing Dept late last week, and they told her they hadn't even started going through the applications yet. Say it with me, fellow hopefuls: ARGH. :banghead:
