Can anyone tell me when Washington Hospital Center's new grad programs start? I don't see any start dates on their website. I see they have Dream Days every month, but can't figure out when the actual program starts. Also, has anyone been through the new grad program in the ER? I've read the other posts about the new grad program, but I was especially interested in any experiences people have had in the Emergency Department.I would appreciate any additional information about the program - info not covered in the other posts about the program.Thank you.

Feb 18, 2009 I attended Dream Day in January and I've accepted a position on the surgical oncology floor for the new grad residency program. I talked to the nurse recruiter yesterday and she said that the new grad program should probably start the third week in July, but the dates not set yet. I hope this helps!

malenurz 70 Posts Feb 22, 2009 I'm annoyed with them. I've called and left messages with the nurse recruiter, and emailed multiple times (re: Dream Day) and ...and not a single returned phone call or returned email. There must not be a nursing shortage there.

I am supposedly signed up for the April 3rd Dream Day, and have been told that they can grant my request for that day. I have not received a confirmation email and need to buy airline tickets before the prices skyrocket! Thanks everyone.
