for the people who went march 20th, how did it go?!

I shadowed in med/surg renal and cardiac today friday the 24th, it was a great experience, i really enjoyed med/surg renal, it is a very busy unit and i have no idea how nurses manage to do so many tasks at once. I interviewed with the nurses manager but i dont think it went right. she asked my a lot of question for a regular interview and then she asked me two types of clinical question.

She said she will let me know next wednesday if i get the job or not.

Is anyone going to the Dream Day on May 29th? I wanted to go the 24th but they didn't have any of the specialties I wanted.

How do you get to attend (Dream Day) and what is it?? I graduate May 15th and I live out of state, but that sounds really neat!

Go to the Washington Hospital Center site and go to the part of the site for new grads. There you will see a whole bunch of different units and you just email them and tell them which units you want!!

Eiano, I'm going to Dream Day on May 29th. I couldn't get in any sooner, I had been trying for over 2 months.

I requested an ICU and an Onc. Do you know what your two units are?

I had wanted to go to the one on the 24th, but none of the units I wanted were open. We were pretty much playing pong with emails... so I'm fortunate to have this opportunity!
