  1. No i don't remember. I wouldn't worry about it unless they bring it up in your interview or acceptance letter. They wouldn't invite you to interview if it was too low
  2. Some high percentage of ppl in my class (like 80%) had ccrn. I only had one year icu experience though i know they asked ppl with more experience to take it too. You can be accepted under the contingency that you pass the exam. They have some ppl retake the gre until they get a certain score on the section. For example, my friend was accepted with contingency that she improved her verbal score.. had to take the gre 3 times to get the verbal score they wanted
  3. It does not Matter where you pick for clinical site. You just might not get your top clinical site choice if accepted and ppl who interviewed before you and were accepted chose there first.
  4. Orlando and Hollywood take 20 to 30. Tampa and West Palm take less, about 6 people. Ocala takes about 3. At least that is what they did for my class but those are about the sizes every year
  5. snipes..I received an interview invite for the June session last year, but had to postpone it to their July session. I would think they would look at all the apps they received by the deadline, rank them, interview their top choices, and then go on from there. They interview until the class is full, so it just depends on when that is..could be as late as Oct, maybe even later. I am not sure how late they were interviewing for my class. They would not be calling people now for interviews that late though, they just call about 20 people or so for the next month, then after that interview and they have the date set for the next they invite the next batch. gatornurse, PM me if you have questions about the program, we are super busy this semester so can't guarantee an answer right away
  6. I applied in april and received a call in may for the June interview.
  7. when I interviewed last year I believe they told us they had about 400 applicants. I do not really know how many people they actually interviewed but I would think it would only be about 25 percent. We started out with 64 people in my class.
  8. I just emailed Andrew. He said they are finalizing them this week. So hopefully soon!
  9. Coloradogirl....ccrn isnt required. I think they decide if they want you to take it based on how you do on the test and your experience. They asked me a few clinical questions and since i told them we rarely use swans and hemodynamic monitoring on my unit unless they are a liver patient then i think that is why they decided i should take it. I don't really mind though. it's just going to make me a better nurse by studying for it and i would much rather study/take ccrn instead of having to retake the gre! (which i have heard they require of some ppl too)
  10. Anybody know what book we will be using for chem/physics in a few weeks?
  11. I just got the info yesterday. For fall classes are Mon from 8-2 (or maybe it was 230). And tues from 8-6 (!! Long day). You have to buy the books through the school as a package which i don't like..$1800 for that.
  12. I'm not sure what was worse...waiting to interview or waiting to hear if accepted! They just told me today I have to get my ccrn certification though! Guess I'll be studying for that along with taking the 2 head start classes. marthagp, I do believe they have a session in august..they will interview until full. You should call/email and ask..they are very helpful and quick to respond.
  13. Jacyln, were you from Michigan? I think i was sitting right next to you and one of the last to interview
  14. Just received my acceptance yesterday from the july 23 interview. I will be joining you guys in jan!!!! Can't wait to meet you all!!!!
