Waiting for NCLEX results

Published

I took my NCLEX (Colorado) on Thursday and am still patiently waiting. I just graduated with my BSN and ended up with 185 questions! I know I definately got the last question right before it shut off, but I am sooo nervous. I didnt feel this nervous about my LPN NCLEX am I just nuts? :bugeyes:Unfortunately Monday is a holiday so I think I will be waiting five days for results that should take 2!!

I just took my NCLEX yesterday. I had told myself going in that I knew I would get 265 questions...just so I wouldn't freak when it didn't shut off at 75. And what does it do??? Shut off at 75. I wanted to scream at the computer "Wait! I haven't proven myself yet! I need more questions!!!" I left the test center crying my eyes out, just knowing I failed. I'm going crazy and I feel so stupid. :banghead: To top it off, I didn't think about the holiday when I sceduled my exam so now I have to wait longer. This is a HORRIBLE feeling to have to sit here and wait!

here I am,still waiting for my result.hehe

Thank You!!! I swear, the feeling I had after I left the testing center was absolutely horrible! I think since I practiced with so many NCLEX test prep books that I got used to the instant gratification of looking at the answers right after I made a decision. Obviously you don't get that with the actual test. I tell you one thing, I will never go through that again!!!

Which NCLEX prep books gave you the best preparation? Had the questions that you saw again on the test?

Thanks a lot for any tips in this regard.

Congratulations on passing.

i'm waiting for my results too... so scared to death. i know that it is over with and i have to just let it go but i can't. some can't understand that i worked hard for this and i can't move forward without knowing if i passed or not. if i knew i failed which i think is what's gonna happen, i can make arrangements to do better and if i pass then i can have a life now and just really focus on being the nurse that i want to be.
