Just a question. Anybody who took the NCLEX in CA, what was your average wait time for your results? Did you all check the CA BON everyday? Or wait for something in the mail? If you did either of those things how long was your wait...just curious. I just took my NCLEX last Monday the 9/29 and still waiting, I know it's still kinda soon to expect anything, but if anybody could just give me some insight into your experience, I'd appreciate it. Thank you :typing
to richo: i already had my ss# when i applied for nclex so i may access CA BRN's web..unfortunately i've no idea if i passed or failed since my name doesn't appear til now....anyway,i'm still hoping for the best and as they say, never assume til you get your actual results via mail..goodluck for the both of us :wink2:
I hope you find your results soon too. Sending good thoughts your way. Do you know what all this talk is about our files being complete?? The school I graduated from made us as a class go through the application and paperwork, made sure we did our finger prints, etc....what else is in the file, cause I'm thinking mine is done...anything you know that I don't....thanks in advance

Just because you submitted everything, it does not mean that a file is complete. There can be issues with fingerprints, or a transcript has not actually been received by them.
If one writes the RN exam, and has not heard anything in two weeks and does have a SSN#, then contact them to see if anything is missing. CA BRN will permit a new grad to sit for the exam provided that their name is on the roster sent by the school before they transcripts are even sent it to them.
For the LVN license, one must wait until they receive the letter in the mail, the license number will not show on-line since it has not bee paid for until the exam has been passed.
Three days is the fastest, but it is not definitely the norm. Average wait time is still ten days, so please do not think the worse at all.
If you do have a SSN# and it has been more than two weeks, then contact them to make sure that your file is complete.
Best of luck to those of you that are waiting.
