  1. I took my exam on Monday and got the result on Thursday so it was 3 days.
  2. I failed at 265 then passed at 115. It's okay if you failed at 265 because next time you have a very good chance of passing. Don't beat yourself too much if you failed but you do have a 50/50 chance of passing. Good luck
  3. Does anybody know how to obtain a Home Health Nurse certification? I want to be a home health nurse but have zero yrs of experience, I was told that I should get a home health certificate which makes me more qualify. Thanks, B.
  4. Don't want to disappoint you but you would be a very lucky person if you could get a job in the Bay Area as a new grad much less be selective.
  5. My friend and I have been looking for jobs in the Bay Area and it just hopeless. 300 applicants for 28 available new grad positions. That is ridiculous and insane. We are fortunate enough to be able to go far since we don't have a family. I'm curious as to what do people do now that they have graduated without having a job.
  6. My most regret on how to prepare for the NCLEX was studying the ATI. It is not for test prepartion, it includes all the stuff that you study in nursing school but it is NOT NCLEX preparation. My friends and I was doing the ATI and we all regret it for life.
  7. My test was 105-110 question with 6-7 SATA, 2 med calculation, 7-10 infection control. I just found out that i passed. I was truly 100% that i failed after I gone home and check the answers. Don't think of one way or the other until you receive your result. I was preparing to open my book one at 8:00 until my friend call me at 7:45 to let me know that I passed. I thought it was April's fool joke but miracles do happen. Just study, study, study n study.
  8. I PASSED. I overcome the CAT. I've crying since Monday the 15th after the exam. My friend was 100% sure that I passed. This is my 2nd attempt. Miracles do happened. Thank you, I will pray to all those who will take CAT Nclex.
  9. Hello, I took my exam two days ago in CA, the 15th. My name is not listed. This is my 2nd exam, first was 265, now 108. Please continue to pray for me. I will keep you all in my prayers. Thanks, Becky.
  10. Hello, Does it required to wear gloves while taking b/p of an AIDS or HIV patient?
  11. To SilverDragon, How did you study for the 3rd exam? Do you know what you did wrong? Thanks, B.
  12. Hello, First of all, thanks to all those who are listening to me. Here's my story. I took the 1st NCLEX RN and failed at 265 question. The result came home and 1 category above passing, the rest near passing standard. How did i study for it? I read the ATI and do Saunder's questions. I feel that I didn't know my material. To prepare for the second exam, I read the whole Saunder's book and of course do all their question. I did about 700 Kaplan's qbank questions some Mosby's. Second test i got around 100-110 questions. My questions to you is has anybody heard of someone failed on their first attempt at 265 and next fail at 110? I feel really dump. How can I do worst, I suppose to improve. Also, I took test on the 15th at 8 am, the results should be posted on 17th online right? I feel that after two days, the chance is significantly lower. Quick response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, B.
  13. Hello, Does anybody know how long would they posted your Ca NCLEX results? I took it on Monday d 15th, it's been two days and I don' see my name on the website. Does it mean that i was 95% failed? Thanks, Agonizing 2nd times nclex taker. B.
  14. Hi Guys, I just took my 2nd exam yesterday, Sept 15th. I had 265 q on the first exam and got 105 questions this time. I had 6 SATA, 2 Med calculation. I went home to check the answers and found out that i missed so many questions. Knowing that I must answers the high level of difficulty questions but what is consider as high level difficulty? SATA? Med? Prioritize? Delegation? Also, for those who took it twice, do you feel that the latter exam is much harder. They don't state a specific disease or ask for any defination. I'm praying every day for me to passed. The first time I studied the ATI which i regret it completely. Second time, I study from Saunder's book n do Kaplan's questions. Any advice on what to do if i failed this one again? Thanks, b.
  15. Hi All, I just take my 2nd exam today with 108 questions. First was 265 questions but i wasn't studying really hard. This time i studies much harder.
