People are lazy. Simply report the thread as inappropriate or off topic to forum and the staff will move to the right place.
My least favorite are title "anyone take bint12344 at xycbccc with awesome. Helllllpppppp me pllllllzzzzz!!!!!!" Body is "well?"
And "tell me what my homework answers are" "I'm brooookkkkkeee plz send me free PDF of the copyrighted texts and study guides you paid for and your user name and password for Kaplan and Hurst" when told no, u r a mean h8r,!
I agree. Forums for clinical issues should not be cluttered with school, NCLEX and job inquiries.
If the post is in the wrong forum, use the yellow triangle and write " wrong forum. " Some members respond without noticing and that leads to some confusion for new posters.
Home work questions belong in the nursing student assistance forum. Some members have the patience to read and answer those questions. I generally do not.
The single sentence questions about effecting change in an organzation, and "what do you want from your administration" are the sign of a student who has put forth no thought or effort and wants to compile posts from random strangers as her original work.
Employment, resume and interview questions belong in the career forum. There are even a forums for pre-nursing students and one for first year after nursing licensure.

I have noticed a recent trend here at Allnurses. I seem to be seeing a lot of local threads started in the General Nursing Forum and it's starting to get on my nerves
I feel like I have to scroll past many posts that belong in the State Forums to get to anything related to general nursing. These posts are really cluttering up our main forum. Appears to be new posters in particular. So please, please new posters, if you want to know the wages in Atlanta post to the Georgia Forum or if you want to know about XYZ school in Chicago, post to the Illinois Forum. Pretty please with sugar on top
