Vanderbilt Pre-Specialty Applicants 2014

Hey everyone! I couldn't find this thread anywhere so figured that I would start one for all of us who applied to Vanderbilt's Pre-Specialty Entry program (for non-RNs) this fall. I applied for the PMHNP specialty. What about you?! :)

I couldn't wait either. I called and have been accepted to the FNP program.

Stats: Undergrad: 3.5, Pre-requisites: 4.0. GRE: 151/159 Verbal and Quantitative respectfully.

I can't wait to meet all of you!

Hey has anyone heard back from the peds speciality? I just called and they said my decisions was still under review, which I was surprised about because I thought they would know by now...

I applied to peds direct entry and my application is still under review too. I'm glad I'm not the only one, I started to think that meant they were just postponing telling me no! :unsure:

For those of you worried or freaking out I just called the Admission directly and she seemed happy to look it up. I am in for pre-specialty in Psych and could not be more thrilled. Heading to Nashville from California tomorrow and will be attending the Open House March 1. I am so anxious to hear about scholarship and FA. For all who have been notified, congratulations! Can't wait to meet all of you. PM me if you're heading to the Open House?!

I hope so. I've read this entire thread and I don't think I've seen any peds acceptances yet.... Maybe they can just accept all of us? :)

Hi everyone. I'm a direct entry FNP candidate ( going straight into my grad year) and have been following your thread. I spoke with someone today and they said the pre- specialties were being decided first THEN those of us applying for direct entry. She said no direct entry candidates have been decided on yet and to call back Friday to check. It sounds like many of you pre- specialty should find out in the next 2 days. Good luck!

3.7 GPA, 154/155 GRE...quantitative/verbal.

My application page has not been updated though

My Stats: 3.41 Bachelors, 4.0 prereqs, 154/155 GRE...quantitative/verbal. Got Pre-specialty FNP. Sorry for the earlier mixup

How are you all seeing the status of your application? Is it just when you log back in to the place we submitted it? Mine looks exactly the same as it did when I submitted in November.

My status still just says " submitted".
