Have you heard back from any of the schools? I applied to the same ones as yourself with the excepton of Colorado. I was accepted at UTMB.. and love the fact the FNP is only 4 semesters..

Hi I applied to the Texas Tech FNP program and UTMB FNP program. I was accepted to UTMB. Tech is suppose to send out notices first week of May. I accepted the UTMB program, I love the fact it's only 4 semesters... I love Tech, but it's 9 semesters.

Hi, I'm finishing up an RN to BSN program currently. I graduated with my ADN in 1989.. (Dinosaur days) The Nursing CAS system I hated the way they configured the GPA for schools to review. Between the 3 schools I've attended , I had 3.3... I know they receive a large number of applicants so I would think they are still reviewing... Good Luck..

Hi i'm glad I found this thread. I received my acceptance from UTMB FNP for 2014 this week as well. I'm looking forward to the Fall. Have you completed your acceptance ? I plan on going full time how about yourself ?:)

I wanted to see if there is anyone has applied for the Fall 2014 AG-PCNP program... Thanks....

I have friends that are FNP's and AGNP's and I had the same question to them. The answers I was given depends on where you want to work in the end.. The only difference really is AG's don't handle newborns.. I don't see many AGNP's in the Family Practice area but , i see both everywhere else.. I don't know of a difference in pay scale for them either.. I wish the Tech program wasn't spread out like it is... Good luck to ya...:).
