I just attended Vanderbilt's fall open house for the 2020 year and I'm really excited to be applying! I'm hoping to connect with other Vandey applicants so we can offer support and info along this process. I am applying to the post BSN dual CNM/ FNP program.

Okay, just wondering if anyone received an email that we needed to apply because I have not received any emails besides my application being in by priority deadline.

I have 3 left and will have one done by Jan. However, I saw one person on a post say that they were waitlisted and it seemed like it was because they had a pre req left. I'm already anxious because of my lower GPA. I just wanna prove my worth to them.
Hi! I am from a non-nursing background and was accepted last year with 3 pre-reqs in process.

Personally, I would think that it'll be too late. However, call tomorrow for clarity. Did you receive a confirmation email. I did in November, stating that I'll be considered in the priority review.
Just a reminder, decisions are expected to come out the THIRD week of February. I know last year Vandey had their phones and emails blow up starting the end of January, beginning of February (based on last years posts) and I think it may have delayed things a bit. I know it's hard to wait but given what they've said in info sessions, I'm not expecting decisions until the week of February 17th at the earliest.
Having said that, I am excited to almost there! ?

Is this your first year applying to Vandy MSN program? And what is your background in if you don't mind me asking. You sound like me because I have looked at previous allnurses threads multiple times to see how this application process goes haha
