I haven't seen a thread yet for 2016 hopefuls, so I thought I'd start one. After much research and changing my mind back and forth, I decided to go for the Vanderbilt MSN. I would be direct entry as I already have my BSN. I finally decided on Pediatric Primary Care. I'm just worried about getting a job after graduation as I'm not really seeing much in the way of openings in the Nashville area--which is where I live.
Hey,
Just now saw this. Yes, everyone here wants experience. I had no trouble finding a job. Most don't you just have to be realistic in your qualifications versus where you are applying. East Nashville is the hot new place to live. It is being heavily gentrified and redeveloped. The HCA branch of hospitals here called Tristar pay the best for someone with little experience. Also you can move anywhere within the company and keep benefits and time.

ASMS, I read somewhere on here or last year's thread that not everyone is required an interview. That doesn't mean you are rejected. Maybe you are SO impressive they don't feel the need to do an interview. I also thought I read that someone received an interview invite MUCH later than the others and they ended up being accepted.
