Vanderbilt MSN 2016

I haven't seen a thread yet for 2016 hopefuls, so I thought I'd start one. After much research and changing my mind back and forth, I decided to go for the Vanderbilt MSN. I would be direct entry as I already have my BSN. I finally decided on Pediatric Primary Care. I'm just worried about getting a job after graduation as I'm not really seeing much in the way of openings in the Nashville area--which is where I live.

hmmm... got accepted into crna school.... not sure what to do now..... may not be going to vandy after all... really tough.... asking everyone and anyone what i should do...

Has anyone from the FNP specialty received an interview? Previous posts said some FNP applicants would be required to interview but I never heard from anyone that actually got one. It seems like it's getting a little late in the game for them to interview anyone else before mid-February.

me neither Emmanade :( Im getting more and more anxious as the Feb 15 date approaches. I really hate uncertainty! sigh. Hopefully all the anxiety will feel so worth it when we hear our good news!

if we dont hear anything tomorrow, then defintely feb 15 is the notification date..

Where did you hear the 15th? Its nice to have an actual day count down to!

Feb 15th was the initial date sent out in the email saying your app was received :) someone else also posted that they called admissions and were given that date.

Well, the later in the day it gets I'm losing hope that late January is a real thing. Looks like we'll have a couple more weeks to wait. Hang in there, friends!!

I think they were saying BY feb 15th we would know so I'm still holding on hope that we will hear sooner! The uncertainty keeps my very Type A personality on edge! Haha
